Membership ID question was created by Alvis
I know the in the section of Membership ID, there is a field called 'Membership ID start number'.
If I set '12000000', then as the desc says, the first membership ID for the user is 12000000 and the after one is 12000001.
It is easy to understand. However, if I imported a lot of members into the system and the last user is configured as 12003002.
The question is:
Will the system know what the next membership ID is? (The next one should be 12003003)
If not, how can I configure it to follow the number?
Is that any place to store the running number?

Hello

Yes. The next one will be 12003003 as you said. Basically, when the system calculates Membership ID for a new member, it will get the largest Membership ID currently, plus 1 to have Membership ID of the next member

That means there is no running number storing in the system but calculate immediately automatically. Right? It is great!

Yes. That's right. It is calculated at run time when there is a new subscription record created in the system
