Thanks Tuan, These seem to be "payment plugins" ... I was hoping for some more documentation around the other ones which change state due to subscription getting activated / expired..

Ah, Yes. There are other plugins, too. You can read instructions here membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/develo...mentation/dev-plugin

You can look at existing plugins in the folder plugins/osmembership and try to learn from there
