We want to have site users that are not members, and have them activated by an Administrator...
At the same time we'd like to have new members (Membership Pro Plan Subscriptions) activated automatically after payment.
We have System>Users>Manage>Options>New User Account Activation set to 'Administrator'.
We have Membership Pro configuration set to:
"Only create user account when membership active/approved" as YES
"Send Activation Email" as NO
We had "Auto Login" as YES and the new user account was not activated even though they were an active subscriber in Membership Pro.
Is there any way for Membership Pro to automatically activate new, paid subscribers?
No, in your site, you require administrator to approve user account, so Membership Pro won't be allowed to activate user account automatically. In short, Membership Pro needs to respect the Joomla settings
