How to setup nested content restriction plans? was created by MinneMedia
Hello,
I'm trying to nest plans in categories and provide both 1:1 linking (via Membership Pro Articles Restriction-Plugin)
If I purchase single plan1 and after that I decide to purchase plan4 (including plan1,2&3) I want to to disable plan1 (maybe plan2 or plan3 too) at the same time. The goal is, to have the same subscription length for the new auto-subscribed plans1-3 via plan4.
It works, if I come from plan1 with upgrade options to plan4 without prorating. (then plan1-3 are set to expired). But if plan2 or plan3 aim to the same upgrade option to plan4, I have to decide unnecessarily from which purchased plan I want to upgrade to plan4.
If I don't set up upgrade options and purchase plan4 additional, I can't enable any discounts and already purchased plan1,2 or 3 are renewed, so that the other subscriptions created, are having shorter end dates expired, respectively the renewed plan has a longer duration.
All I want is upgrading from plan1 (or plan2 or plan3) to plan4 with possibility to apply a discount in which all plans auto-subscribed via plan4 have the same expiring date.
Can you help me setting this up?
Is there workflow to work with nested plan which recognize if there restricted contents are part of parent plans?
Regards
Martin
I'm trying to nest plans in categories and provide both 1:1 linking (via Membership Pro Articles Restriction-Plugin)
- plan1 -> "topic1"
- plan2 -> "topic2"
- plan3 -> "topic3"
- plan4 (containing plan1-3) -> "topic1 & topic2 & topic"
