Access & Subscribe Access Fields - under Basic Information tab - under Plans was created by Darlene
Under the Basic Information tab for Plans are 2 fields: Access and Subscribe Access.
I have tried unsuccessfully to find definitions for these 2 fields.
I have tested various settings, but because the group assignment can be done in a couple of other places, including the Joomla Groups tab, I haven't tested all the scenarios.
What are the definitions for these items?
Also which spot would you recommend for setting the group that is assigned for a new or renewed subscription. I've found Joomla (which we've decided to set to Registered in case someone manages to just create a Joomla account.
We are using the expired subscription settings under the Joomla Groups tab.
Thank you
Darlene

Hi Darlene
1. Access: Control who can view the plan.
2. Subscriber Access: control who can subscribe for the plan
3. For the group which users is assigned to when they subscribe for the plan, that depends on how you want the system to work. If you don't need anything special, then maybe no need for Joomla groups assignment
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
Thank you for the definitions. This is not what I thought these were for at all, but their purpose does make sense.
This has helped me sort out the purposes of the 3 spots:
We do have some resources that need particular groups.
Again, thank you for your assistance.
