membership upgrading was created by Ken Thorkildsen
IS there a workaround for this situation:

Membership A - set up of 15.00 and monthly 5
and
Membership B - set up 18.00 and monthly 12

When it upgrades from A - B, how to take set up fee 3 and monthly 7.

Is this possible, I can't work out how to do it.

Also - I've noticed that the module for the membership plans has both 'ENROL' and 'UPGRADE' buttons. How to have just UPGRADE?

regards
Ken

Hi Ken

1. There is no way to handle this kind of upgrade. It is too complicated and could not be handled by the extension, sorry.

2. That would require small code modification. You can submit a support ticket sending us:

- Super admin account
- Link to the page

We will look at it and do the the modification

Regards,

Tuan

Thanks Tuan,

As it isn't possible to use the UPGRADE facility in this situation, would a workaround be possible:
Membership A to have 'exclusive' upgrade membership C with the difference in fees. I think this works but I have a question:

Just to check my understanding, if Membership A is 5 per month and they upgrade to Membership C which is 12 per month.
If they upgrade, they don't pay 5+12=17 per month, they just pay 12 per month, right? as membership A is cancelled.

Is my understanding correct? When they upgrade, the previous membership is cancelled?

Regards
Ken
