Email Reminders - Turn Them Off - Best Practices

Hello community,

I'm using Membership Pro on a client website, it's been great, however, unwanted emails reminders for my Staging website are still going to subscribers. I use Softaculous in CPanel to create a Staging website, production copy, it's a great timesaver for migrating changes, beats restoring Akeeka backups. Anyway, in Staging, I have disabled the plugin "Membership Pro Reminders", but subscribers are still receiving reminders from the Staging site. Is there another way to turn them off? Are there best practices you follow when managing a Dev/Test/Staging site for Membership Pro?

Any advise or solutions appreciated.

If the reminder plugin is turned off, there is no way for reminder emails are sent from that site.

So you really should check and make sure the plugin Membership Pro Reminder is turned off on that staging website

That's the first thing I checked and the plugin is disabled. When I checked the email log, there are several entries for April 2021.

Maybe the plugin was disabled after the email sent? If the plugin is disabled, there is no way for reminder emails sent

OK, I will monitor the log, but I'm sure the plugin was disabled. Checked the User Actions Log and the Plugin was updated on Monday, 24 August 2020, that's when it was disabled.

OK Marlon. For now, please monitor it. Technical, if the plugin is disabled, the reminder emails could not be sent because the plugin is the only place which trigger reminder emails
