Allowing group members when pending

Hi Guys

We only take offline payments for membership, so when our members complete their renewal form their status may be 'pending' for some time.
We would still like our members to add group members when in pending status, is this possible?
At the moment they are getting the message "You don't have permission to manage group membership"

Sorry Alison. It is not possible at the moment. Users will have to have a paid subscription to add group members

Also, you might interested in the option which allow group admin to send join link to group members (so that group members can join the group them self instead of having to be entered by group admin) which was added recently to the extension membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/advanc...oin-group-membership

OK, thanks for coming back to me, I guess the [JOIN_GROUP_LINK] won't work unless they are paid up either.

Yes. Right now, it will only works if the subscription is Paid. I will have to review it to see if we can allow users to join when the group subscription is still Pending. Will get back to you about it later
