Renewal emails - status

Hi Guys

We are coming up to our annual renewal time and I have a query about when reminder emails are sent.

If a Member completes the renewal form, using offline payment (the only payment method we use), so the subscriber record is marked as 'pending' will the software still send the second and third reminder emails which are set up for after the due date?

We allow our members to renew and pay at a much later date (due to the nature of our business) so we want them to be able to renew, without paying straight away, and recieve no furher reminders.

They will still receive reminder email, unfortunately. The reminder email, will only be stopped if the renewal subscriptions are marked as paid

So for this case, I'm afraid of some modification/customization to the code will be needed to make it works as you want

I guess 30$ should be OK for this customization. We will implement the modification using override so that it won't be lost when you update to future releases of the extension

Thanks Alison. Please get this file, unzip it, upload the received file to components/com_osmembership/helper/override folder on your site (you might have to create override folder if it does not exist before)

Then it should work as expected

This did not work, our members still received a reminder email when they had already renewed (but were not paid).

That's strange. Could you please submit a support ticket sending me super admin account and tell me username/email of the subscriber who has this issue so that I can check it directly on your site?
