We want to update the price of the membership (monthly and annual plans), but do not want to increase the price of the recurring memberships that have already been purchased.

I think we can do this by:
  1. creating two new plans with the new prices and adjust all front references to the new plans
  2. switching the "Subscribe Access" of the exisitng plans to "Super User" (or something else?)
I think this will allow only the new plans at the new price to be available, but those with the existing plan can keep paying the old rate.

Anything I'm missing?

Hi Andrew

That approach is good to me. You can use it. There should be no issue

Just one note is that the new plan should has different Alias compare to old plan to avoid when users click on that new plan, it will be linked to old plan (something related to routing). Each plan should have it own unique Alias
