Hidden Custom Fields was created by Zoe Slattery
I want to hold some information about the subscription that the user doesn't enter themselves. So is there a way to have a custom field on a plan which is either read only to the user or is hidden altogether. I have tried using a css visibility class which hides the field but that leaves the label on the subscription form so that is not a usable solution.

Hello Zoe
The simplest way would be editing the custom field, set Access to Special so that the field will be visiable to administrator but not to subscribers
That should solve the issue
