Can't see the text in the Select lists on the signup form

Hi,
I'm having problems seeing the text after it has been selected. For example, in the screenshot attached you can see that I have selected United Kingdom in the Country field as I now have the County options. The same happens in the County field too once a choice has been made, the text is not visible.
Would you be able to help with a css fix please? I have tried several things already but I just can't crack it.

Oh! I fixed it. I needed to increase the field height in my Template css.
