Payment method when product cost zero was created by Frédéric Bianchi
Hello,
i have a question with payment method.

I have a product on normal cost for example 200$ and have 3 payment method, like Paypal, Stripe and pay later (bank transfert).

If i give a coupon code for the total cost of product, so i make a 200$ coupon, in the order confirmation, i still have the default payment method.

So that say for example :

Product cost : 200$
Discount : 200$
Total : 0
Payment method : Paypal
Payment status : Paid

And it is confusing for clients, because they thing it will be charged by Paypal (some clients don't have a good grasp of all of this and don't understand it).

So is there a way to create for example a payment method like "Free" when a payement is at zero ?

Hello

When there is no payment involved, there should be no payment method information in order confirmation

In case it is working like that on your site, there must be something special causing the issue. You can submit a support ticket sending us:

- Super admin account
- Link to subscription form
- Tell us the coupon code which we can use

We will check to see what's wrong and get it sorted
