Payment Details sent to Stripe was created by Tim Serr
Hey there, got a quick question regarding the information sent to Stripe when using OS_Stripe Plug-in with "Use Stripe Card Element" selected.
I've noticed when completing a non-recurring subscription Stripe doesn't receive information such as customer name.
If I create a recurring subscription, the user is setup in Stripe as a customer and the user's name is visible.
If I turn off "Use Stripe Card Element" and have the user enter credit card information directly on my form, the customer name is then visible within Stripe.
I'd prefer to use Stripe Card Elements, but if the customer name is not always sent to Stripe it's hard to reconcile payments later on. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but when using Stripe Card Elements, there isn't an option to add the cardholder name, etc. The only elements captured using this method is Credit Card, Expiry, CVC, and Postal Code. Not sure if this is something in Stripe configuration that I can change or if it's in Membership Pro somewhere?
Thanks for any assistance.
Tim

Hello Tim
Stripe Card Element does not collect card holder name, so there is not a way to have the data associated to the transaction yet
In the next release, maybe I will find a way to pass subscriber name (first name + last name) to Stripe (by creating Stripe customer before processing payment) and that should address this limitation
I will work on it and update you when it's done so that you can update

Yes! That would be ideal, Tuan. That’s exactly what we’d be looking for.
As always thanks for the quick reply and keep up the great work.
