Renew membership option

Renew membership option was created by Stephen Monaghan
Hello.
I am having an issue with the renew membership subscription option.
In a scenario when a members subscription has expired I would like the renew membership option to be available on their profile when logged in.
I have turned the "Show renew membership options" function on but there is now renew membership option on the profile.
I have attached a couple of screenshots both front and back end for reference.
Any help welcome!
