Group Member Signon forcing unexpected redirect for group member

I have created a subscription for 2 people, and have added a Group Admin person (husband). husband then signed into Group Members and created wife.

When wife signs on the following appears in the url and it cannot be escaped from, without cancelling the user session in the back end:

www.oasttheatre.com/art-group/sign-up-to.../profile?layout=edit

I have cleared and turned of all redirects. Strangely the 'sign-up-to-enter-art-exhibition' is another login screen. I can't figure out what needs to be fixed.

Hard to understand the issue without checking it directly on your site. Please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and tell us step by step what we need to do to see the error

We will check to see why the issue happens and get it sorted
