Download ids after migrate

Hi,

We have built a testsite with Membership Pro and Eventbooking with 2 unique download-ids.
Now we want to get the site copied to the root as production site and keep the testsite for testing purpose.

For the migration (or copy) we use Akeeba backup/migrate
Can we use the same download-ids for the new production site as well as for the testsite?
Or do we have to process/implement new download-ids?
Does the auto-update give problems if the are not unique?

For the production site, you should generate and use a new Download ID

Each site needs to have it unique Download ID for Joomla update to work

To process a new donwload-id seems different as before: it's not necessary to give a domain.
Is that okay?

No need to give domain. Domain will be collected automatically by our system (when your site requests for updating the extension)
