Subscription forms and user activation

Hello everybody,
I purchased Membership Pro for a Joomla site.
I have read the documentation and I'm trying to configure the plugin so that once the payment is complete, the user is automatically created and already active (like a joomla core user) in Registered group. But I fail.
User account is still pending and not created in Users -> Manage section.

My goal is:
1- user subscribe a plan paying fixed amount
2- user receive an email with an activation link
3- user activated by click on email link

Can you help me?

Hello Luisa

If you want user is activated automatically (without having to activate account by clicking on activation link), please go to Membership Pro -> Configuration and set:

- Only Create User Account When Membership Active/Approved config option to Yes
- Send Activation Email config option to No

Also, go to Users -> Manage, click on Options button in the toolbar, set
New User Account Activation to Self

Then try again. It should work as you want

My english is not very good, but I try to explain again:
with the configuration that I made following the documentation, in the tests I was able to subscribe to a subscription plan.
Unfortunately, the user account remains in the "unpublished" state and it is necessary that the admin, through the membership pro panel, active the user account.

I want to configure plugin in this way (if it's possible):
1. User go to subscription form
2. User fills and submits the form by completing the payment
3. User receive an email with an activation link (only if payment operation it's ok)
4. User account (both on membership pro and joomla core users) activated by clicking on activation link (step 3)

It's not possible. Normally, when users subscribe for the plan and make payment, the subscription record should be Active automatically (not Pending as in your case)

Not sure what payment method you are using?

I'm using paypal and authorize for now (I hope to add new methods in the future).
I'd like also that:
1. User go to subscription form
2. User fills and submits the form by completing the payment
3. User account automatically active (both on membership pro and joomla core users ONLY if payment is ok).

Is this possible? I tried, but it didn't work. I'll try again following your directions above.

Right now, when you use PayPal and complete payment, what's status of the subscription record? Pending or Active? Active is how it should work
