Getting started

I have paid for and installed Membership Pro and the range of facilities is really impressive. I'm excited!
However, I have since read through ALL the instructions at membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/ and there seems to be no guidance on designing the flow from an enquiry (for membership of a scheme or club of some kind) through registration, payment, and realisation of the subscribed services. I'm talking about "wireframes" as some people call them today, showing what Membership Pro resources are invoked at different steps in the process.
If I use Membership Pro to direct paid subscribers to other web pages, how are they protected, and how do I identify the unique "member" who has just logged on?
Have I missed something? Are there tutorials somewhere that explain different design options (at the USER/SUBSCRIBER/WIREFRAME level), and provide guidance about implementation?
Any pointers to help pages or videos would be appreciated - thanks.

Hi Andy

1. The first thing you should do is creating subscription plans you want (so that users can subscribe for the plans they want)

2. Then the next step would be create a menu item to display the plans (so that users can access to the menu item to see available plans and subscribe for the plan they want). Usually, you can create a menu item to link to Plans List Default Layout menu option of Membership Pro. See membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/frontend-items/plans for more information

3. Then you will need to configure the payment plugins you want to use to receive payment from your customers. Go to Membership Pro -> Payment Plugins to do that (unpublish the plugins you don't want to use, too)

4. If you want to restrict access to resources for your subscribers, see membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/resources-access-restriction for detailed instructions
