ex subscribers can still read restricted k2 items

so I'd like to restrict access to the "members only" (K2) category to subscribers only.

I use K2 on my website, so I head over to K2 items restriction settings in my subscription plan.

Under K2 Categories I select the "Members only" category, and under K2 items, I select the "Members only" tick box.

When I hit 'save', only the category remains selected, the "members only" items tick box is unticked.

I don't know why.

Why might this matter?

I've noticed that when a subscriber's subscriptions has ended, but he is logged in, he can still read K2 articles that were meant to be for members only.

How do I troubleshoot this?

Hmm, it seems to have been solved. I was still in a joomla user group, when I shouldn't have. I'll look into that. But for now, this seems solved.
