Coupons, Groups and Plans was created by Thomas
Hello,
Just bought membership pro, great piece of work, and very flexible. I have a couple of questions:
1. Coupons
Plan to have many different subscriptions. Some where coupons can be used, others where coupons can't be used. Whether a coupon can be used for a Plan is known on Plan creation time, since for some subscriptions a large part of the paid amount, will have to go to a third-party (reporting to third-party and payment towards third-party will be handled outside can this system). Basically my question is, can we choose on plan creation whether coupons can be used for this plan? A simply field "Coupons Enabled: [Yes] [No]" would be enough here.
2. Fees based on number of Group Members
Its great that we can allow a company(group) to signup additional users, in example from their own company, to a subscription. This is really useful. Allows creating plans like "Plan A (single user)", "Plan A (up to 10 users)", "Plan A (up to 20 users), "Plan A (up to 30 users)", and set a different fixed price for these plans. But would there be a way to allow the user on signup and later (if group membership is allowed for plan), to have custom control over members of a group subscription, and have the related costs determined from this number of members, instead of reaching a max number of users at some point, and then need to move all these users to a new plan allowing more users?
In example just like now, set max group members included in plan price, but be able to specify a price per additional member above this max number of users. Basically the aim is to give subscriber the possibility to add more members more dynamically and not need to move users between different fixed member number plans. In example be able to set a different per-user price based on number of group members. In example [default = 20 EUR/user], [more than 10 user = 15 EUR/user], [more than 20 user = 12 EUR/user], etc.
Would any of this be possible now, or with some custom development?
Thank you

Hi Thomas
1. No, it's not possible. However, when you create coupon code, you can select the plans which the coupon can be used for
So in case you don't want coupon to be available for certain plan, just don't select the plan for that coupon and it will be fine.
In case there is no coupon code available for the plan, no coupon input will be displayed on subscription form when users subscribe for that plan
2. For group members improvement like that, it's something I want to support for in the extension. However, it's quite difficult and right now, I don't have a solution yet. So we will still have to have fixed number of group members setup in the plan setting for now. I will try to improve it in the future, but it would take sometime
