Upgrade recurring plan with PayPal? was created by Vincenzo
Hi Dear,
here: membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/basic-...lans/upgrade-options
there is this note:
As of right now, upgrade from a recurring subscription plan to another recurring subscription plan is only supported for Stripe payment plugin. The reason is because to perform upgrade from plan A to plan B, we first need to cancel the recurring subscription for plan A. However, most of payment gateways such as PayPal doesn't have API allows us to do that, so for these gateways, it could not be implemented.
But in one of the last upgrade, you integrated the possibility to cancel subscription and refund via Membership Pro / Joomla even if the payment was via PayPal.
The upgrade option for PayPal payment is still not active?
(Hope you can upgrade also your documentation because I refer massively on that, prior to post on your forum. But for this question, I had doubt 'cause now it is possible to handle PayPal subscription (refund, suspend...) via Membership Pro dashboard).
Very thanks.

What I don't understand clearly is if I can upgrade from plan with different recurring payment frequency.
E.g.
Plan A - 1 month - 10$ / month
Pan B - 6 month - 50 $ / month
Is this possible?

It should be possible. Exactly how you expect it to work so that I can understand and give you the correct answer?

Continuing example above:
Plan A - 1 month - 10$ / month
Pan B - 6 month - 50 $ / month
User subscribes to Plan A, pay 10$.
They likes the service, so he wants to take 6 month. They upgrades the service at day 7.
So he has to pay 42.5 for 6 month (from the day they upgrades).
Is it possible?
