Subscription plan for a joomla category blog was created by Goran Aasen
Hi there,
As a newbee to Membership Pro I have a problem setting up a Membership Pro subscription based access to my Joomla category blog.
When I setup a Subscription Plan for a specific Joomla category, and then in a menu item link directly to one article within that category, everything works as expected.
If I however setup a menu link to a "Category Blog" for this specific category, then I cannot get Membership Pro to restrict the content.
Anyone visiting that Category Blog can see all articles like there was no membership requirement.
Anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?
Any input on the subject is highly appreciated.
Regards
Goran

Hi Goran
Actually, on Category Blog page, only intro text of the articles should be displayed. When someone click on an article to view the details, the system should ask them to subscribe for a plan before reading.
Isn't it working like that on your site? Or maybe you are not using intro text for your articles at all?

Ok, then I understand.
I will then use it that way.
I just thought that the system would work the same way as when I link to a single article, but this way will work perfectly for me.
Thanks a lot for the quick feedback.
Highly appreciated.
