Apply Custom Field Fee in existing subscription

I have set up some subscription plans with optional custom fields that have fees associated. I see that I can select these custom field options via admin subscription management on an active subscription, however it does not seem to update the plan price. For example:

Subscription Plan: $50
Custom Field: (list with option A+$5 and option B+$10)

Customer subscribes to plan for $50 with no options, but later decides they want to add Option B. So I access the subscription via admin, select Option B and Save, but the subscription price is not adjusted.

How can this be handled?

Unfortunately, the extension does not handle this case. So if you update the fee option here (for an existing subscription), you will have to change the amount for the subscription manually yourself
