Email Stopped Working

I have a number of emails that are to be sent from the various plans. For 5 years these have worked without issue. However, this past Thursday (8/13) this quit being sent. I have checked all the email settings and they appear to be correct. I have used the Validate Email process (described in the documentation) and that indicates it is working. I have worked with the server people and the testing shows the mail server is working. Email from the outside is being received.

However, none of the Plan emails seem to be sent. I have just set up the Email Log in Membership Pro to see if that show me any issues. These are our reminder messages, etc and are important to our subscribers.

I am running Membership Pro v 2.20.2. I believe I did that recently, could it be the problem?

Does anyone have any suggestions about the issue just stopping issue? Something I may have missed?

In checking the email log, it records email being generated and sent. However, it is not being received on the admin side at least. I cannot see if the customer is getting the email.

So it appears it gets that far, what would keep it from being received?

I have tested sending email from Joomla, from the smtp mail server being used. I have sent email to and from the email address being used using the web mail systems, etc.

It all functions however, the email from Membership Pro while generated, does not appear to be sent. I am at a loss.

So do you see the emails logged in email logs or not?

1. If the emails are logged in Emails Logs, then Membership Pro is working well. It calls Joomla API for sending email, so if emails is not being received, then it's a problem with the mail server (which processes sending email). You will have to contact the server support, ask him to check his mail server to see if there are requests for sending email. If Yes, then ask him why you are not receiving that email ?

2. If emails is not logged, then there is something with the setup (in Membership Pro). In that case, we will have to check it further
