Prorated not configuring correctly

Dear Tuan,

I have non recurring plans, with
- subscription length set to 4 months,
- fixed expiry for 12/18/2020.
- The price is 100.
- However when I set prorated to days or months, on process subscription in front end in today's date of 08/102/2020 its shows 41.67

I am not sure how it's getting the calculation. Basically, what I think should happen is that it

1) calculates back 4 months from the fixed expiry date of 12/18/2020 as the start date. i.e fixedexpirydate - subscriptionlength or 12/18/2020 - 120 days.
2) Determine the cost per day e.g 100/120
2) If "now" date is less than this calculated start date, it should default to 100 dollars (i.e not charge more for the extra days)
3) If "now" date is more than this calculated start date, it should do the math of nowdate - fixedexpirydate and multiply it with the per cost day to get the result.

Can you please help where the issue might be happening

- Explain exactly what's wrong or how you want the fee to be calculated
