Membership Level Access was created by Stephen Hawkins
Hi, hope all's well.
I have a bit of an issue. More of a queery really...
I have say 4 products/programs, each is displayed on a download page after purchasing membership.
My issue is the main menu items and making sure only specific membership levels can access a particular product.
For example, If I have main menu items:
Menu Item 1 - Product 1
Menu Item 2 - Product 2
Menu Item 3 - Product 3
Menu Item 4 - Product 4
And pages:
Product 1 page
Product 2 page
Product 3 page
Product 4 page
And once they are working... what is the access TODOs. to get it to work.
At present I have I have products 1 and 2 working fine with two different users.
To get this working I had to change product 2 and create a User Group and Access Level in joomla.
Registered VIP (for instance)
I then gave access levels "Registered VIP" to Product 2 page so when product one member registers he cant access product 2.
Is this the way to go about this before I create access levels/groups in joomla for:
Registered VIP 2
Registered VIP 3
For products 3 and 4?
Thanks.

Hi Stephen
Why dont you just use these setting in plugin in the settings for each membership? ..no need to use joomla acl for that scenario if you use these.

Thanks, I sorted it. There is a plugin with MP that you can apply setttings to each membership level. Otherwise you cant apply a specific member level with MP. As far as I know anyway.
I heave read the full version of ACL for joomla and it is like reading a terms and conditions law regulation letter. I managed to find a simple version which also turned my head upside down... and then found the plugin that solves this easily.
But thanks for the response. Much appreciated.

I'm happy to hear that you were able to handle it. And thanks @StreetSportService for helping me with this forum question (I missed this topic and could not reply, sorry @Stephen Hawkins for that)
