Creating a URL Prefix was created by davies401
Hi,
Getting on well with Membership Pro but I'd like to simplify the input for users social media accounts on the joining form.
For example, Twitter is always twitter.com/ so I would prefer that users input just their 'account url name' part, and the prefix ( twitter.com ) is added automatically. Likewise the other social media accounts.
My question is, can I do this with a CSS Class and if so can anybody give me an idea of what it should look like?
Any advice much appreciated,
regards,
Alan

Hi Alan
Unfortunately, it's not possible to handle it with css. For this, you can ask users to enter their twitter account for example, however, when it's being displayed (not sure where you want to change it), you will have to modify code to add the prefix twitter.com/ before it
That would require code modification, could not be handled via css

Thanks Tuan,
I've added a custom field to enable members to share their social media accounts, is it something you could do as a custom job, or perhaps in a future release?
Kind regards,
Alan

For this, honestly, it needs to be a custom job. But it would be a small custom job which only cost you 30$ I think. If you are interested:
- Setup the fields
- Enter data for one member
- Send me link to the page which we need to make the change
We will look at it and confirm the quotation. You send payment and we can start working on it
