Membership duration 12 months

Hello,
I offer monthly SEO services.

My customers should be able to subscribe a 12 months support subscription.
Pay monthly, see monthly invoices for each month (not the whole duration of 12 months)

At time i saw no option how to set a minimum subscribtion duration of 12 months and set the value for each month and not the whole aboniment.

It looks horrible if I set the subscription to 1 Year and the customers see a big load of money for a whole year. How i can avoid it?

If i set duration to: 1 Month
recurring / Number Payments 12,
the customer get a invoice for
1 month and he see a subscribtion duration of 1 month and not 12.

what i actually want:

subscribtion duration 12 months / payment status: monthly
while booking the subscribtion: user doesnt see the full 12 month amount
he just see monthy fees and the duration he has to pay.

same on his payment history,
now if i set this solution:

it just shows the duration of 1 month. it would confuse the subscribers...

That's the right setup. So the main question here is how you want to change the display to the user? Maybe send me link to current page and tell me how you want to change it?

Well, now I have two options:

1) Create a 1 Year Plan
The user also pay once a year.
He see the in the order process a full amount for the whole year and afterwards when he registered and ordered he get just 1 invoice for the whole one year subscribtion.

This would be a correct way to create a 1-Year subscribtion, but completly without the possibility, to split the payments.

or alternative:

2) Create a monthly Plan, (1 month duration) and set the recurring payment to 12 rates.

This is bit closer to what I want, but still not a solution.

What is wrong with solution 2:
First problem: This solution contant 12 rates of separate 1 month subscribtions.
That means, in the subscription history (see screenshot), he see just the active duration ot the running month (its confusing the user, cuz he think that he booked 12 months).
Second problem: Next month a new subscription will update or replace the old one. And the invoices will replace the old.


Solution I would love to have:

A one year subscribtion, which is also visible in the subscribtion history as a "one year subscribtion", so I can set the rate of recurring invoices, not subscribtions.

Every month the user should see in the subscribtion history a new invoice for the running month.

As Mykola Dakhov describes it above, it is exactly as I would like to see it.
A purchased year subscription must therefore be available as 1 subscription in the overview during that year. And the 12 recurring payments should then be visible as sub-information.

I missed this forum topic. In your case, I think the nearest option would be:

1. Create a monthly recurring subscription plan with Number Payments set to 12

2. Also, make sure you have Subscription Renewal Behavior set to Create New Subscription (guess right now you set it to Update New Subscription)

With that setup, users will have to pay every month for total 12 payments (1 year). Each time payment processed, there would be a new subscription record and invoice created (so total 12 subscriptions in the subscription history and 12 invoices in this case, each subscription is for one month)

That is the nearest setup and I think it should work for you
