Run SQL on new membership?

Is it possible for membership pro to run a custom SQL on new membership?
This could be helpful for people to make custom actions that can be run when new members sign up.
In my case, for example, I'd like to automatically subscribe new users to the blog and the forum on the website (they can unsubscribe later).

But Yes, you will need to know how to write and run SQL script in Joomla.
