Subscribe to the same plan as a new one, not a renewal was created by hide10
Hello,
Is there a way to get a user with an expired subscription history to subscribe to the same plan without renewing? (Handling new subscription)
Thanks

Hi
Unfortunately, it's not possible. As of right now, Membership Pro will handle it as renewal, so there is no way for one user to have two independent subscriptions of same plan

Hi,
Oh no...
For example, I think you can envision a case where a user who has subscribed to a monthly service like Netflix will stop subscribing once and then subscribe again three months later...
I think normal behavior should be that updates are done before they expire and are treated as new after they expire. (Perhaps this is a strange feeling due to cultural differences.)
Tuan, is it difficult for you to provide a solution to this issue?
Thanks

Sadly, it will require changing how the extension is designed to work, so it's very difficult
If you need this option, I'm afraid of you will need to find a different extension which supports it out of the box

Hi Turn,
OK, I understand.
This is the first time I've tried to use the Renew feature, and fortunately, I've found that I can avoid conflicts with other plans I've set up so far.
I like Membership Pro and will use it in a creative way.
Thanks
