Restrict user to specific US state was created by Thomas Garrison
Hi.
I've successfully set up everything, I think, but I've got a couple of questions.
Is it possible to restrict users to "one" state in the US? Right now, when you sign up, there is only one country (by design - others are unpublished), and only 1 state in the US is published. But when I go to the plan it allows me to select any state in the US - even though I've unpublished all but 1 in the back end.
Did I miss some sort of validation?
Thanks

Hi Thomas

So you are saying that only one state published but there is multiple states displayed on the dropdown?

Could you please send me link to that page so that I can look at it?

Hi Tuan,

Yes. All states "except" California are unpublished. All countries except the US are unpublished.

Here's the link - localhire.us/component/osmembership/sub-...s/sign-up?Itemid=221

I don't know what you can tell from the front end, but I have an appointment right now so I have to leave. Feel free to take a look and I'll check back in the morning.

Thank you.

Hello

Please get this file, unzip it, upload to administrator/components/com_osmembership/libraries/mpf/form/field folder on your site. After that, check it again, the error should be gone

I uploaded it as instructed, but it made no difference. All states still appear in the list.
I cleared my browser cache, expired cache within Joomla, checked warnings for the database, and everything I can see is functioning normally. But the list still includes all of the states.
I downloaded the latest version that was released today. I had to download the file, unzip, then install, but that made no difference either.
Now what?

I even checked a couple of the other US states to see if after I clicked on a stated that indicates it is unpublished (in the overall list of states), if it also shows unpublished in the "Edit State". I can verify that the states are unpublished - yet, they appear in the front end when you select "Select State".
