Pending status emails

Pending status emails was created by Jeff
Is there any way we can trigger an email to administrators when a membership subscription fails payment and records as [Pending]

Our client would like to be notified when this occurs so they can contact the applicant and assist in completing the subscription.

This issue is called a "lost customer" and is very important to solve. If not an alert, a simple error log or something in the back end would make a difference by allowing Membership Pro extension to increase revenue.

Thanks Dean for identifying the issue so clearly. I'll put this into requested features. Makes perfect sense to follow up but the system needs to notify the admin that the issue exists in a timely manner.
