Could not instantiate mail function

I have been using Membership Pro 2.11.1 for several years and it has always functioned well. Now, however, since March, when someone signs up or renews their membership,a "Could not instantiate mail function" error message pops up. The new and renewal membership are still recorded in the database, 'new member applications' still do actually send me an email, but 'renewal applications' do not.. Any idea what is happening?

That indicates that there is something wrong with mail settings on your site. It's strange that new subscription email still working. You can submit a support ticket sending us:

- Super admin account of the site
- A subscriber account (which can be used to renew the subscription and see the error)
- Link to the page which we can renew subscription and see that error

We will check to see what's wrong and get it sorted for you. But before that, you should update your site to latest version of Membership Pro and check it again first
