“Crisis management” and membership “freezing” was created by Vincenzo
Hi Dear,
As you probably know, here in Italy are suspended many activities due to COVID-19 epidemy.
In our business we would like to suspend payment for all active users, without suspending their subscription.
Or, at least, “add” some months to their subscription without cost.
Is it possible to do that?
Very thanks.

Hello Vincenzo
Maybe go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Grace Period config option to 60 days for example and existing active subscriptions will have extra 60 days for their subscription duration
Hope COVID-19 will be over soon (although I don't think that happens for at least 2 months)

Hi Dear,
Happy to see your reply.
The solution is also applicable on “indefinite” recurring payment?
E.g. user have a recurring monthly plan “for ever”.
If I set grace period to 60 days, next payment for the user is after 2 months or are affected only subscription actually expired?
Sorry for the triple question.
(And thanks for your support; I’m afraid the COVID-19 will be around even more... )

Hi Vincenzo
Unfortunately, it won't work for recurring payment. For recurring payment, payment will continue being processed by payment gateway (Membership Pro cannot control this), so subscription of users will continue being renewed
