Changing plan from Lifetime to fixed term was created by Jeff
I need to change a membership plan from Lifetime to a fixed 5 year term.
From what I've seen when testing this all existing memberships remain as Lifetime. If I download these the and update the [to_date] to reflect the end of the fixed term and re-import the new date, the members details still shows Lifetime or ongoing as the end date (depending on the particular view).
Is there any way to fix this? The only other solution I think is to download the membership update the to_date value and import into a new plan with a fixed term.
Thanks

Hello Jeff
You need to do two things:
- Update to_date of all subscription records to the date you want
- Change the subscription length to 5 years, and also set Lifetime Subscription of the plan to No
Then it should be fine
Regards,
Tuan

Hi,
If I need to correct just one record (one user), can I perform the import procedure for that specific user without affecting all the other records?
More exactly an import affects the existing records by deleting something or it is just adds the new record?
Thank you very much!
Regards!

Hi Valentin
If it is just for one record, then Yes, export that record, change the date and import it back into the system would be OK
It won't affect subscriptions from other users
