EU VAT Number: how to set it correctly?

Hello,

I have followed the documentation in order to define EU VAT tax rules:
- I created a EU VAT Number field (as a text field): I tested it with our own EU VAT n° and the system says "invalid number". I also tried with a number field but it does not seem to work. Why?

- After that, should specific VAT setting be applied to each EU country?

Could you please follow instructions at membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/basic-...eu-tax-rules-builder to setup it and try again? If it still does not work, please submit a support ticket so that we can check it directly on your site

If you submit a support ticket, we need the following information:

- Super admin account of the site
- Link to subscription form
- Give me your valid VAT Number so that I can try

After that, I will check to see what's wrong and get it sorted

The VAT number issue seems to be resolved.

Is it possible to display the VAT checkbox in the subscription form only when the VAT n° is necessary (that is for subscribers from specific countries)?
