cant find 'Auto reload user groups' in configuration was created by Rob Smith
My site's memership requires a paid subsription.
I have created a plan that sets their joomla group to 'reigstered', and then removes them from 'registered' when the subscription expires.
I have set 'Only Create User Account When Membership Active/Approved' to 'Yes'.
Setting up a recurring payment is part of the registration process, and we would like that as soon as the user sets up their recurring payment they are automatically logged in.
When I look at the documentation, it seems that there are 2 configuration options that are relevent to me:
Auto Login: If set to Yes, subscribers will be logged in automatically by the system after they completed payment for the subscription. By doing that, subscribers can start access to restricted resources without having to performing login.
Auto reload user groups: If set to Yes, after subscribers complete payment for the subscription, his access levels will be updated automatically and he can start accessing to restricted resources without having to login and re-login. This is useful if you config Membership Pro to assign subscribers to certain Joomla groups when they sign up for your subscription plans
I have set 'Auto Login' to 'Yes' but cant see the 'Auto reload user groups' option. What do I need to set to make this option available ?
Thanks

Hi
Auto reload user groups was removed. It's default behavior. User group will always being reloaded by the system after subscription complete, no need for configuring it
However, the way you are using Joomla groups settings is wrong to me. Subscribers should always be assigned to Registered user group and not being removed from that group
If you need to give subscribers special access, you should create a new user group (like Paid Members) which is child group of Registered user group and then assign subscribers to that group when they subscribe for the plan and remove them from that group when their subscription expired
Please look at it again and let me know if you have other questions
