Upgrading when expired

We want to offer upgrades on some plans pro-rated 'By Price' and use the Profile>Subscriptions History page as the main page for renewals/upgrades so that users can see all their current status and their options all in one place. This works well if their current plan is still Active.

However, when their plan is Expired the Upgrade options disappear. Users are confused by this if they are late renewing their plan, and either they renew and then have to upgrade (making two payments) or we have to tell them where they can go to sign up for the higher plans.

Can the view be modified to show the Upgrade options even if their previous plan has expired (as if their plan was still Active)?

By it's design, the system only allow upgrading if the subscription for original plan is still active

If you want to allow upgrading from expired subscriptions, we will have to perform some customization to the code and will have to charge you small fee 30$
