Reminder email to offline customers was created by Nina Mårtensson
I have a lot of offline customers and I wish to try to get them to change payment method. I'd like to inlcude a link to index.php?option=com_osmembership&task=register.process_renew_membership so the customer easily can reach the renewal form. Is this ok? I'm a bit surprised that there is no link default.
And what's the difference between reminder emails and renewal emails? Is the renewal emails just thank you-emails when a customer has renewed? I love all the different choices but it can also be confusing at times!

Hello Nina
1. There is not an option for that link like that. Users need to login and choose the renew option anyway (remember one plan could have few renew options available). So the link is not available/supported right now
2. Reminder emails is the email sent to user before their subscription expired so that they know and renew their subscription
For renewal emails, you are correct that it's the thank you email send to subscribers when they renew their subscription
Regards,
Tuan

Ok. If I include a direkt link to subscription profile page that would at least get them to the renew options once they are logged in.

Yes. Or you can create a menu item to link to renew membership menu option and include the link in the email message. That would work, too

Even better! Thanks Tuan. I am amazed by how you seem to have thought of everything in Membership pro, I know it can't be easy!

Thanks for the nice words Nina. It's on-going development and in many ways, new features are suggested by customers who actual use the software.
The key point is that I am open for suggestions and listen to customer's requirement to constant improve the software
