Acymailing 6 integration

i have a little problem...

I would like to automatically register users who register for a plan, in an Acymailing list corresponding to the plan. I would like this to be forced automatically, since I would only use these newsletters there for information about the courses they have subscribed to, and not for promotional emails.

But I would also like to give them the choice of whether or not to subscribe to the general newsletter, which will include promotional emails.

I can use (I already do) this function with the RGPD choice, for newsletter subscriptions.

But how can we also automatically subscribe them to a list?

Go to Extensions -> Plugins, find and enable Membership Pro - AcyMailing 6 plugin plugin

Then when you edit a plan, you can choose mailing lists you want and new subscribers of that plan (from now on) will be registered to that selected mailing lists automatically

Could you please check to see if that's OK for you?

No, it dosent work.

Yes, that what i did. But for RGPD compliance, i have to let the choice to the user to subscribe or not to the newsletter.
So if i select in this plugin my general newsletter AND my plan list, the user will be subscribed ONLY if he select the checkbox.

What i want is the user will have the choice to register to the general newsletter but FORCING subscribed to the plan list.

I don't really understand the issue. Could you please explain more details about it? The way it works is that:

- If users check on the checkbox, they will be subscribed to the selecting mailing lists in the plan setting
- If users don't check on the checkbox, they won't be subscribed to the mailing lists

That's how it should work. Not sure what does not work in your case?

OK, i will explain.

I want using Acymailing to contact my customers for the information before they comes for the courses. (i sell courses in classrooms, and online courses too).
I know i can use the "Mass mail" from MP but i dont like this feature, because too simple, no statistics, etc.

For example, i have 3 plans. Plan-1 / Plan-2 / Plan-3

I create 3 Acymailing lists, for Plan-1 / Plan-2 / Plan-3.
I have too a general newsletter list.

So now, il have a general newsletter list. I will send promotional messages with this list, i have to conform to RGPD, so my users have to select or not if they want to subscribe to this list. I do this with the plugin, they are subscribed ONLY if they wants.

But, i WANT they subscribe to the Plan list MANDATORILY, for get my pre-course information.

So if a customer register to Plan-1, i want he subscribe MANDATORILY to the Plan-1 list, and, if he choose, to the general newsletter list.

So for now, with your plugin, if the user wont check the box for newsletter, it will not be included in the mandatory list of plan-1, and he will not have the pre-course information, such as the exact time, the map for the parking, etc.

Is it clear now ?

So if i cant make a liste mandatory AND another not mandatory, can i use the PHP plugin when a user register for a plan to subscribe to my Acymailing Plan list ?

It's clear now. Unfortunately, it's not possible to have the system works like that. If it's mandatory, all lists will be mandatory.

So the only way is somehow, handle it using PHP plugin as you mentioned. You will need to borrow some code from plugins/osmembership/acym/acym.php , method onMembershipActive to add users to mailing lists you want when they subscribe to your plans
