update to 2.17.3 totally broke site

Hi Team, I updated to version 2.17.3 and it broke the site both front and back. The /administrator/components/com_osmembership libraries simply doesn't exist. Lucky I had a file backup version from July and copied the libraries folder back in the file. Now the extensions are saying that the update is requied again. Can you please check this as I'm not sure if it wont do the same again. I downloaded the new zip and extracted the libraries file and put it in the folder. Cheers Adrian

I would say that it causes by something special on your site (maybe there is permission issue makes the library could not be copied during installation process)

In this case, you can submit a support ticket sending us super admin and FTP account. We will install the update and make sure it's working OK for you

Hi Tuan, I just downloaded the zip and extracted the library file and uploaded it to the folder. Will see how it goes. Nothing has been changed regarding permissions but you never know. Cheers Adrian

Ok. I just re updated the 2.17.3 update and all is fine again. Really don't know what happened. If you like you can delete this post. I panicked at first but all good. Cheers Adrian

Hi Tuan, Ok thanks, Something that also happened is the menu in admin also totally disappeared but came again after the update. This happened a couple of months ago without an update , but I had installed JCH Optimize and that did break a lot of things on the site. Since deactivated the plugin and all is good. Thanks Adrian.
