Member Renewal after cancellation was created by Mike Wheeler
We have had some members cancel through their PayPal account but then been unable to sign up again as their email is already in the system. Looking at the documentation this is because they originally signed up to a 5 Day Trail and so the renewal is set to No

Is there way to let them sign up again with the free trial removed?

or

to another, same price, subscription without trial?

This is pretty standard in membership systems, I just can't work out how to do this in Membership Pro

Hi Mike

If they have an account in the system before, he needs to login before processing the subscription

Maybe you don't have login option available, so he could not login on subscription form? In that case, the system thinks that they want to register for new account and that might be the reason the system does not allow users to register

To solve this error, I think you can go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Show login box on subscription page config option to Yes

When you do that, the system will display login option on subscription form and in case users have existing account, they can login before continue subscription process and it should address the issue
