Repeat Password: is it managed by Membership Pro?

Hi Dear,

I have a doubt about the field "Repeat password". I don't understand if it is managed by Joomla or Membership Pro. I have this doubt 'cause Joomla have also "Repeat email", but it doesn't show in Membership Pro form subscription.

(For istance: I would like to hide both the "Repeat password" and "Repeat email").

Ah, OK. No, it's not possible to hide it. If you want to hide it, you would have to edit code in this file components/com_osmembership/view/register/tmpl/default_form.php

Not sure why you want to remove it? I believe it's a standard to make sure users know the password he entered during the registration

Please use it as how it's for now. It is used to make sure users enter his right password and it's not taking much time for him to enter that data

Hi Tuan,

I'm having an issue with the repeat password and I came across this thread. In my case, the second password field is not being checked if the second password field is left blank.

If I type in two different passwords, then I get the red popup that says fields don't match. However, if I leave the 2nd password field blank, the password I entered in the first field is accepted and the password is changed.

Can you look into this?
