Is there a limit to file size uploadable to assign to a plan?

I didn't find this information: is there a limit on the file size that I can upload to assign to a specific plan?

I see that with file larger than 15/17 MB it was difficult to upload (I did this trick: upload a smaller file with same file name, then upload via FTP the larger file... If I upload only via FTP, the system doesn't "know" that there is that file. Isn't it?).

Is there a limit or this is only determined by hosting/server/connection?
Example: Membership Pro per se can upload media like audio/video of 0.5-1 GB (or larger...) ?

Currently, we don't have file size limit setting in the extension, so Yes, it's limited by server settings only
