Assign to Joomla Groups on Subscription Renewal

I've read through the documentation on membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/joomla...integrationassigning users to Joomla groups , but I'm not entirely clear on whether this code gets run again when someone renews their membership.

Consider this example:

1) I create an "Website Member" plan, and configure it to add users to the "2019 Members" Joomla usergroup
2) A user signs up for the plan, and as expected, gets added to the "2019 Members" Joomla usergroup
3) I change the plan settings to add users to the "2020 Members" Joomla usergroup
4) User renews their membership

In this situation, when the user renews their membership, will they be added to the "2020 Members" Joomla usergroup?

Does the same apply for recurring memberships as well (i.e. would a user with a recurring membership also get added to "2020 Members")?

Yes Matt, the same rule is applied for recurring subscription
