Default field values was created by Seán
I would really like to set default values for Country and State, but I can’t get it to work. Defaults for Text fields seem to work fine, but these list fields do not. Looking at the database it seems State stores the State Code 2 abbreviation and Country stores the full Country Name. No matter what default values I use though, they never appear on the subscription form.

After more testing it looks like this is caused by trying to translate the Country Name, but it’s not the translation itself. It seems any Country Name with spaces in it cannot be set as a default. I’ve tried now with American Samoa, Antigua and Barbuda & Bosnia and Herzegowina — none of these work as default values.

Unless there is something special, country with space character should still work well. Could you please:
1. Make a screenshot of the field setting
2. Send us the link to the page
We will check to see what's wrong and get back to you with the reason
