Media Field for image selection

How would I add a media field for image selection by a subscriber, so that it looks like the Joomla front end intro image picker field?

Hello Paul

At the moment, we don't support that field type, so it's not possible. We only have File Upload custom field type which allow subscribers to upload file.

Thanks Tuan, I should be able to figure out a workaround.

OK Paul. One way would be customize code to add a new custom field type. However, I am not sure if using media field for public user is secure (has not tried to use it on frontend).
