Use both PayPal and PayPal Pro

Previously, our website only offered one non-recurring plan, and you could pay via PayPal or Moneris (Credit Card). This year we've decided to offer 2 plans: one is recurring, the other is not recurring. For the recurring plan, we want users to pay using PayPal Pro (so they can cancel themselves), but for the non-recurring plan, users will still have the choice to pay via regular PayPal, or Moneris (Credit Card).

The trouble is, currently our PayPal IPN is set to yoursite.com/index.php (which is required to make the PayPal payment plugin work). But the installation instructions for the PayPal Pro plugin indicate we need to change the IPN URL.

If we change the IPN URL to yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_osmemb...method=os_paypal_pro , will the regular PayPal plugin still work as expected? Or can we only have one PayPal payment plugin installed at a time?

You can set the IPN URL to the one PayPal Pro payment plugin needs, it will work for standard PayPal payment plugin, too

BTW, since you are using PayPal Pro (a credit card base payment method), may I suggest you to look at Stripe? It's a good payment gateway and well supported by Membership Pro
