New user password

Hi

All our new subscribers are entered from the front-end by the subscriptions manager using the 'Subscriptions Management' page. MPro sends an email to the new member with their subscription details including their username but not their password. Is it possible to include the password as well?

Also - can several subscriptions be renewed at once from the 'Subscriptions Management' page? I tried but only one subscription was renewed.

Hi Trevor

1. If you want to send password to user, go to Users -> Manage, click on Options button in the toolbar, set Send Password parameter to Yes

2. You can check on all the checkbox next to the subscriptions you want to renew, then press Renew Subscription button in the toolbar. All the selected subscriptions should be renewed (if you are using latest version, in the past , sometime ago, we only allow renewing one subscription at a time but that was changed)

1. The username and password are sent if I create the new user from the Joomla user manager but when the new user is created using the Membership Pro » Subscriptions Management page in the front end the confirmation email does not include the password. This means we have to send a second email with the password.

2. It does work thanks - I had the dates wrong when I tested it!!

I can confirm the issue #1. It happens when users is added via subscription managers, not when user subscribe for your subscriptions plan. I will check and get it corrected, give me 2 or 3 more days (I'm quite busy at the moment)

Please get this file, unzip it, upload to administrator/components/com_osmembership/model folder on your site. Then check it again, it should work as expected (I tested it)

If it works well, I will include this change into next release of the extension
